LOCATION: Arena Studios, 27 Parliament St L8 5RN

Having trained in Illustration and Design at Mable Fletcher Technical College, I worked as a freelance artist and designer in both London and Liverpool and am now based at Arena Studios in Liverpool.

In my work I aim to create a link between realism and the imagination and am particularly inspired by the natural world, folk tales and music and cultural experiences that have shaped my life. I work in a variety of mediums, often in mixed media compositions as I enjoy the flexibility and the ability to overlay colours and textures to create intricate patterns and 3D effects.

Having been inspired by an exhibition of paper art at the Manchester Art Gallery,  I have been developing my work using different print methods and paper cutting and collage techniques using origami and recycled paper and card.
